This is from the first chapter - Ari has really bad luck with dates, or to be exact, blind dates that her sister sets her up on. This one has been the worst of the worst. And how it ends? Definitely memorable.

She had just taken her seat and was drumming her fingers on the table when the waiter walked up. This time there was no doubt as to the pity on his face. “The guy you were with had to leave and asked that I give this to you.” He handed her a folded piece of paper.

Relieved she didn’t have to do the leaving, she nodded, and opened up the paper to see what kind of excuse he would have left for his departure. Instead of a note, she found herself staring at the bill for their dinner. “So, he decided we were going dutch,” she chuckled, grabbing her bag. Boy, her sister sure knew how to pick them.

“No, actually he said you would be paying for the whole bill.”

Excited? I am! I love this book. It is exactly the kind of book I enjoy reading. Strong, quirky heroine, alternate dimensions, a demon who has too high of an opinion of himself, and a drop-dead gorgeous love interest.

New novel accepted by publisher!

Okay, I am excited. Up until now, I have self-pubbed my books that I put out under this name. But I am thrilled to say that my novel Your Dimension or Mine? (Working Title) has been accepted by The Wild Rose Press for publication.

Your Dimension or Mine? is the second in my Dating Service stories. (The first was L'Amore Perfetto.) This one has a paranormal twist to it and I love it. I mean, who doesn't want to read a great story with a strong heroine, an even stronger hero, and an evil demon who is out to get her?

As the process goes along, I will keep you updated!

Yes, I'm AWOL

Yes, I've been awol. So much has been going on in my normal every day life that my websites have taken a backseat. I apologize for that, but reality must be obeyed.

On the plus side, I am almost finished with my second dating service story, this one is a new adult paranormal romance. It should be out next fall.

Sorry I am not 'around' much, but I'm still here! Just dealing with the day-to-day.

I will probably be back late summer.

Six Sentence Sunday

Hi fellow sixers! Enjoying today's group of wonderful six's? Who knew 6 was such a wonderful number?

Today I am sharing a small bit from one of my WIPs. This is another dating service story. A few weeks ago I shared with you the beginning of Ari's date from hell with Jay, the man who talks and eats at the same time. This is from a little further on in the date.


“So, Arrrrwin,” Jay said, growling the ‘r’ like a pirate while pronouncing her given name wrong. Against her better judgment, she tuned back into the conversation. “Jane tells me you were a bit crazy in college.” He winked at her and leered.

As she fought back the food that wanted to come back up her esophagus, she caught the look of pity from a woman one table over. Obviously Jay’s voice carried. 

If you think this date is bad, you should see some of the other men her sister has set her up with. The woman has seriously bad taste in men.
